Following are tools and resources I recommend for running your small business.  I don't recommend anything without trying it or doing tons of research!

** Some of these links are affiliate links. This means I may get a bit of money if you buy from them. This does not cost you extra money. I also do not recommend something that I have not already tried or done extensive research on. All Amazon Links are affiliate links. Please let me know if you ever have any questions.***

Website & Email Marketing

Email Marketing - Active Campaign

Over the years I have tried many different options. I have been with ActiveCampaign now for three years. Every time I go to try a new one, I end up back with them. Can be a bit hard to get started, but once you know it, it has everything you could want.

Web Hosting - BigScoots

Hands down the best service I have had with a host. Would not consider going anywhere else.

GoDaddy

I have been using Godaddy to purchase domains for as long as I can remember. I prefer to use Godaddy to keep all the domains instead of my hosting company, in case problems pop up with the hosting. The one I use now is great, but in the past I have had ones that became a problem. This way I just have to change where the servers point to.

Thrive Themes

I use wordpress. This is my go to theme and plug in company. I have been using Thrive Themes since about 2015. They make it really easy to build a website on your own. And have the extra tools to make your business more successful!

Other Email Providers

In the past I have used: Aweber and MailChimp. I would recommend either one today. If you are brand new to business I would recommend starting with Mail Chimp.

SEO Tools

Keyword Research - Keywords Everywhere

This is a quick and easy plug in that you add to chrome. I use it for quick research between my bigger SEO updates. Not always 100% precise, but good for in between planning.

Aherfs

If you want to make SEO one of your primary tactics, then is the research tool I recommend. I have used others and this one to me is easier to navigate. It is on the pricier side, but depending on how much content you are creating you may not need it all the time.

Misc. Tools

QuickBooks

Another tool I have been using a LONG time! Since my first business in 2002. I still like it the best. I have tried many over the years. Both myself and with clients. This one tends to have the best ability to grow with your business. Keep in mind depending on your size and industry there may be more specific software for you. Others I recommend? Xero, and Freshbooks

Vectera

This is the meeting platform that I use. I like it because it integrates scheduling and the video meeting space. And each clients gets a permanent meeting room! Making it cleaner and easier to use for repeat clients.
