What is Asynchronous Coaching
Asynchronous coaching is a flexible way to get the support you need—on your schedule, not someone else’s. Instead of trying to line up calendars for a live call, you send your questions or thoughts when it works for you, and I’ll respond within 24 hours (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays).
It’s perfect if you’re in a different time zone, have a busy life, or just like having time to think through things. You still get the insight, feedback, and connection of traditional coaching—just in a way that fits into real life a whole lot easier.
Benefits of Asynchronous Coaching
- No worrying about scheduling sessions – we don’t have to figure out what time will work for both of us. You send you question when you have time, and I will respond within 24 hours (M-F).
- Don’t have to be in similar time zones. You can be 16 hours ahead of me and it doesn’t matter. We can still work together.
- Immediate help – you don’t have to wait till our next live session. You send your questions or concerns, and I answer them back!
- We can make adjustments in the moment so you can make progress without creating new bad habits!
- It gives you time to process your thoughts and questions – which leads to better questions and insights. While face-to-face conversations are great, you also might not feel like you have time to pause and pull your ideas together. With asynchronous you can take the time to think about exactly what the question is.
- You can review what was said instead of trying to remember. Just hit replay and get what you need.
- You still get the benefits of voice and body language insights. With only text or email you won’t always catch the tone of voice you can with a voice memo. Or body language from a video. Why is this important? Because we often hide with our words what is going on, but the energy of your voice can tell a different story. This has happened with clients, where I can say “you don’t sound like your normal self. how are you feeling?”
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from traditional coaching?
Traditional coaching usually involves scheduled, real-time sessions (like Zoom or phone calls). Asynchronous coaching lets us communicate through voice, video, or text messages, whenever it works for you—no scheduling needed.
Beyond the how, it can cover the same topics we would do in a live session. We can also use it to support the live sessions. So, after we have a call and create action plans for you, we use asynchronous to make changes in the moment, ensure accountability and deal with surprise issues before your next call.
Is this less effective than live coaching?
Not at all! Many clients find it more effective because it gives them time to reflect, ask better questions, and apply feedback right away. Plus, they can revisit responses anytime instead of trying to remember what was said in a live session. I have some clients that won’t go back to traditional coaching being the only method because they have made progress so much faster using asynchronous.
What topics can we work on asynchronously?
Most topics work great asynchronously—mindset, productivity, habit change, energy management, spiritual connection, self-confidence, and more. If something would be better suited to live support, we’ll talk about it. The things that are better for a live call are when the issues require more back and forth conversation. For example, if you are struggling with a person in your life and we need to talk about multiple aspects of the situation. Or if we are talking about bigger financial conversations.
What if I need a live call at some point?
Totally fine! If we hit a point where a live conversation would help, we can schedule one. Asynchronous doesn’t mean only asynchronous—it just means that’s our main method. In fact, even my clients on the asynchronous plan, typically will have at least one live session every couple of months. And you get a discount rate on live calls if you need them.
How long does coaching last?
That’s up to you. Some people work with me for a month to tackle a specific challenge. Others stick around longer for ongoing support. It ultimately depends on what you are working on and what type of support you need. In general, plan on three months to make sustained progress towards your goals.
Before you start, we can discuss possible timelines and other considerations. Schedule a free new client consultation to get a better idea of what you may need.
What if I don’t know what to say or where to start?
That’s normal! I’ll help guide you with questions in the beginning. You don’t need to show up with all the answers, just be open to the process.
One of the first things we can start with is accountability and figuring out what we need to adjust for you.
Does the ClarityFlow App Cost?
Not for you! I pay for the software as part of my business.
Do we have to use the app every day?
No! This is designed to get you the right amount of help when you need it – without feeling overwhelmed. Growth of any type requires some breaks. This approach gives us more flexibility to make sure you don’t end up worse off.
In fact, there tends to be more of a project like flow for most clients. We work on one thing, then step back and make sure it works. Take a small break and then work on the next thing. But that is the best part of asynchronous – you get to choose when you have the energy to interact and make the changes you want. You pick the speed and timeline.
Do I have to record videos or audios?
You decide the best method for you. Some people better process through writing, some through audio. Some people don’t want to be on camera. Some like that connection of seeing the other person. Our first week we can try all the options, and we will default to the one you prefer. I have clients that do only one format, some that do all of them. You tell me what you prefer, and we will go with that.
Although if it is video – on bad hair days you will get an audio! 😜
Let’s see if we are a good fit and if this is right for you!

FAQ
What if we are in different time zones?
This is a great option when our time zone are different. We don’t have to directly schedule a call when one of us should be in bed! Instead you send your questions and responses when you are awake, and I respond when I am awake.
If you are picking the Tuesday/Thursday option it is those days for me – which I base the on east coast time of the US. So, if you are far enough away that you are a day ahead it may be that I respond on Wednesday/Friday. You can still send questions anytime you like!
