Oracle Card Reading: Remove Fear From Past Events
This oracle reading was done with the assistance of Goddess Brigid. With the stated intention of know what was needed at this moment in time. I did it on April 29, 2026, but trust that when you find it is exactly when you need it.
For this reading I used the Wisdom of the Oracle Deck. Below is the image of the cards that I drew. Below the image is what Goddess Brigid shared about each of the cards.

The main theme is the Imagine card in the reversed position. And the specific detail that Brigid wants to focus on is when after a period of hard times it is difficult to envision a better future because fear of the past takes over.
We begin to believe that there is no other way than what was. So, we stop dreaming and begin living in the past.
The three cards below the Imagine card is how she recommends we move on from old wounds and start moving forward.
Take a Break
The Time for a nap card in the reverse position is encouraging us to stop for a bit, because we are overworking. Trying to do it all without help or stopping. The book excerpt even says, “You are a human being not a human doing.”
This non-stop work can be dangerous, because it is one of the things we do when we are fearful. It is easier to try and keep working instead of facing the fear we are experiencing.
If we are doing non-stop, we don’t have to feel.
Ask for Help
The next card (A Leg Up) invites us to ask for help. You don’t have to overcome your fears by yourself. You also don’t have to bring your dreams to life by yourself.
In fact, asking for help will allow you to see things you may have been overlooking. When we are too close to a problem, we struggle to see it.
Stay in the Present Moment
The final card (Here and Now) invites you to stay fully in the present moment. Worrying about the future and ruminating on the past will not help you move forward. Instead, when you allow yourself to be focused only on today, it is easier to address those fears, find solutions and open up to other intuitive messages coming in.

Tips on How to Move Forward With This:
To start I recommend you try and clear some space in your schedule. Give yourself some time to regroup and do some self-care. This is important for helping you to ground and move forward.
After that, determine what is the biggest fear that is holding you back. If you aren’t sure use the journal prompts below or check out this article on identifying hidden fears.
Once you have identified it, identify one person you could get some help from. This doesn’t have to be someone doing it with you, it could be an accountability person. Someone you can call when you are overwhelmed with it.
Finally, pick one way that you can help yourself come back to the present moment when you feel fear coming in. For example, you start worrying and you stop and focus on your breath. This should be something that you can do easily just about anywhere so that even if you are out you can manage your fear.

- Where in my life am I struggling to imagine something better?
- What past experience might be influencing that?
- What fear feels most present for me right now?
- What is it really trying to protect me from?
- In what ways might I be “overdoing” to avoid feeling something deeper?
- What would it look like to receive support instead of handling everything on my own?
- Who is one person I feel safe reaching out to?
- What would I want to share with them or how do I want them to support me?
- What helps me return to the present when my mind drifts to the past or future?
- If I trusted that a new possibility is available to me, what might I begin to imagine again?
